What is the difference between C1 and C2 telescopic forklifts?
C1 is a telescopic forklift with a fixed boom and driver's seat, while C2 is a telescopic forklift with a boom and driver's seat on a movable or rotating construction. This course covers theory for both classes, but practical training is only provided for C1.
What certificate will I receive after completing this course?
Upon passing both the theoretical and practical test, you will receive a certificate of competence for class C1.
What are the prerequisites for enrolling in this course?
You must hold a certificate of competence for forklift, earth-moving machine, or G8 truck crane.
What topics are covered in the course?
The course covers areas of use, accidents with telescopic forklifts, construction and operation, support legs and stability, overload system and load diagram, positioning and setup, main components and accessories, control points, functional test, and driving practice.
How long is the course and what is included in the duration?
The course runs for 1-2 days and includes 1-2 days of C1/C2 theory and 4–8 school hours of C1 practical training, depending on your background.
Can I take practical training for C2 after completing this course?
Yes, additional C2 practical training (4–8 hours plus a practical test) can be arranged separately.
