Falck delivers HSE training with an innovative structure designed to create an engaging and effective learning experience for all participants.
Learning Format
The course combines two complementary delivery methods:
- Two days of interactive online sessions via Microsoft Teams, emphasizing reflection and practical skills development
- Interactive e-learning modules offering flexible access to professional content on various HSE topics
Legal Requirements and Compliance
This training fulfills the employer’s responsibility to ensure that safety representatives and Working Environment Committee members receive appropriate training as mandated by the Working Environment Act § 6-5 and § 7-4. The course meets the requirements outlined in the Regulation on Organization, Management and Participation § 3-18 and satisfies the 40-hour minimum requirement specified in § 3-19.

The training provides comprehensive coverage of:
- Working environment legislation, including the Working Environment Act and relevant regulations
- Systematic HSE work, encompassing internal control mechanisms and implementation strategies
- Key roles in HSE work: responsibilities of employers, employees, safety representatives, Working Environment Committee members, occupational health services, and the Norwegian Labor Inspection Authority
- Risk assessment methodologies and techniques for mapping and evaluating workplace hazards
- Diverse working environment areas: physical, chemical, biological, ergonomic, psychosocial, and organizational factors
- Health-promoting work environments and employee resilience, including topics such as sickness absence, substance use, and relational workplace demands
- Norwegian working life tools and relevant statistics
Time Commitment
The complete course requires forty hours of engagement, meeting the mandatory minimum training requirement for safety representatives and Working Environment Committee members.
